Torun Lian
She was born in Jevnaker, Norway in 1956. An author of many popular books for children. Since the 1980s she has been writing plays and screenplays for the theatre, film and television such as FRIDA – STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART. In 1998 she made her debut as a film director with a film for children called ONLY CLOUDS MOVE THE STARS, which she based on her own novel. In 2004 she did another film based on her own fiction – THE COLOR OF MILK.
